Mansfield School Committee Meeting
Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, December 5, 2017
Superintendent's Office
The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Kiera O'Neil at 7:05 pm.

Motion to enter Executive Session: Kiera O'Neil asked for a motion to enter into Executive Session
pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 for the Following Purpose:
Under Exception No. 2, To conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel
or to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel.
Motion to enter into executive session by Lynn Cavicchi / Jenn Walsh.

Discussion was held on the Mansfield High School Principal Position. Currently, Mary Watkins
is serving as interim principal. Teresa Murphy provided her thoughts on how she would like to
move forward. She requested advice on a potential contract for the new principal. School
Committee will further discuss next steps at the December 12th school committee meeting.
Kiera O'Neil ° called for a motion to leave executive session and to return to open meeting.
