Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, November 13, 2018
Mansfield High School - Principal's Conference Room
The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Kiera O'Neil at 6:50 p.m.
Members Present: Administration Present:
Kiera O'Neil, Chair Teresa Murphy, Superintendent of Schools
Lynn Cavicchi, Vice Chair Michael Connolly, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Linda Fernando Edward Donoghue, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Lauren Scher
Jenn Walsh
Members Absent: None
Motion to enter Executive Session: Kiera O'Neil 'asked for a motion to enter into Executive Session
pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 for the Following Purpose: Under Exception No. 3. To
discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a
detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares.
Motion to enter into executive session by Jenn Walsh / Lauren Scher.

Teresa noted that on November 28th, negotiations would start for the custodian union. She
asked for input from School Committee as to the items they wanted to tackle. Lauren
suggested prioritizing. Linda Fernando suggested priorities, what items the district will stay
firm on and what items are flexible. The committee will discuss again on November 27, 2018.
Kiera O'Neil called for a motion to leave executive session not to return to open meeting.
Motion adjourn at 6:59 p.m. by Linda Fernando Jenn Walsh.
