Mansfield School Committee Meeting
Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, February 11, 2020
Superintendents Office, 2 Park Row, Mansfield, MA 02048
The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Lynn Cavicchi at 6:35 p.m.

Administration Present:
Teresa Murphy, Superintendent of Schools
Michael Connolly, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Edward Donoghue, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Motion to enter Executive Session: Lynn Cavicchi asked for a motion to enter into Executive Session
pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 for the Following Purpose: Under Exception No. 3. To
discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a
detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares.

Teresa Murphy provided an update on two sets of negotiations:
Bus Drivers: Negotiations are now complete. Concessions made on both sides. Key changes
were condensing the time it takes to move to the top step and modifying vacation language for
clarification on vacations during the school year.
Mansfield Educators: Two meetings have been held with one more coming up this week. This
will be the final opportunity for new proposals.
Lynn Cavicchi called for a motion to leave executive session and to return to open meeting. -
