Mansfield School Committee Meeting
l Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, November 10, 2020

The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Kiera O'Neil at 5:33 p.m.

Administration Present:
Teresa Murphy, Superintendent of Schools
Michael Connolly, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Edward Donoghue, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Entered into Executive Session pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 for the Following
Purpose: Under Exception No. 3. To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or
litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating
position of the public body and the chair so declares.
Superintendent Murphy provided the committee with a draft of an MOU for COVID Return to
School for Paraprofessionals.
The paraprofessionals were looking for something similar to teachers but on a much smaller
scale. Both sides seem satisfied with the final product. School Committee recommended some
minor grammatical tweaks and verbally approved Teresa Murphy to move forward with
completion. No vote was needed.
