Mansfield School Committee Meeting
Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, September 22, 2020
Remote via ZOOM
The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Kiera O'Neil at 6:05 p.m.
Members Present:
Kiera O'Neil, Chair
Lynn Cavicchi, Vice Chair
Linda Fernando
Lauren Scher
Jenn Walsh (arrived at 6:06 pm)
Members Absent: None
Administration Present:
Teresa Murphy, Superintendent of Schools
Michael Connolly, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Edward Donoghue, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
There is a tentative Educator MOU to return to school. Minor tweeks have been made and the
MEA is awaiting the HVAC report.
The HVAC report is pending; we feel good about what to expect as they have kept us informed
throughout the process. Once we receive the final report, we will notify the MEA.
We are awaiting parts for the roof top exhaust fans and expect those in October. Individual
univentilators have been inspected and filters have been replaced. All other filters within the
schools have been replaced.
Kiera O'Neil called for a motion to leave executive session and to return to open meeting.
