Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, July 28, 2020

The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Kiera O'Neil at 6:06 p.m.
Members Present: Administration Present:

Lynn Cavicchi, Vice Chair Michael Connolly, Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Linda Fernando Edward Donoghue, Assistant Superintendent of Schools

Members Absent: None
Entered into Executive Session pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 for the Following
Purpose: Under Exception No. 3. To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or
litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating
position of the public body and the chair so declares.
There is a possible need for collective bargaining on the QMS schedule. The district is
reviewing need with Andy Waugh.
On August 10th, the district will hold impact bargaining with the MEA to discuss the reopening
plans.
Kiera O'Neil called for a motion to leave executive session and to return to open meeting.
Motion to adjourn at 6:20 p.m. by Linda Fernando / Lauren Scher
