A. BETA Group, Inc. & TOD
McDermott discussed the upcoming workshops that month, which had to be rescheduled. He
also alerted the members that the Town's MBTA Communities Action Plan had received'
approval from the Commonwealth
B. Downtown Grants and Business Assistance
McDermott discussed the results of a recent survey of sign installation companies he had
conducted, relative to the average cost for a storefront improvement project.
C. Business Beat Campaign
McDermott discussed the availability of members to participate in site visits during regular
business hours.

IDC Membership
McDermott informed the members that Jim Shriver, a Mansfield resident and Deputy Executive Director
of the Village at Willow Crossing, would be interviewing for a seat on the Commission,
Business Development & Outreach Updates
McDermott updated the IDC on recent business development and outreach efforts.
Key partnerships
McDermott discussed recent efforts undertaken via the Town's memberships with numerous economic
development organizations.
