Call to order: Neal Boldrighini called the meeting to order @ 12:15 PM
Minutes of the Board Meeting: Minutes from November 15, 2022 meeting were reviewed.
Paula made a motion to accept the minutes and Pat seconded. Vote in favor:
Affirmative: 7 Negative: 0
Treasurer's Report:
Pat Comperchio presented the treasurer's report. The gift account is down. However, we
received a $7,000 donation from Samsonite. Neal asked Josephine to send a thank you note
from COA and the Board of Directors. Paula made a motion to accept the Treasurer's report
and Dick seconded.

Director's Report:
➢ Busy with Holiday celebrations. We had 60 people for the Luncheon fewer than in
previous years but everything went well.
➢ The chorus performance was great and well -attended. Mary did an amazing job and
made delicious treats as well,
➢ Upcoming programs -Birthday Bash sponsored by Eric Shepherd will be on Friday,
January 20'h, from 11:30 am -1:00 pm.
Memory Cafe to start on January 4th, 2023 from 1:00-2:30. Sponsored by Right at Home, Old
Colony Hospice, Care Patrol, and The Residence at Great Woods. The cafe will be held on the
V Wednesday of the month.
Old Business
* Dementia Live, on Tuesday, Dec 131h from 1:00-3:00, Sponsored by Right At Home was well
attended. We had 22 people participate and the overall experience was eye-opening. The
EMTs that went through this had a new perspective for their future home visits. They need to
approach seniors differently with a softer approach, slow down the process and eliminate
further escalation.
• Jo presented the plans for the new building to the board. Everyone liked the plans. The
survey will be completed shortly and will be distributed before the new year. We will
have a full building committee meeting in January.
A motion was moved and seconded to end the meeting. The next meeting will be held at the
COA at 12:30 pm, January 17, 2023.
