The Chairman asked the Executive Director if she could inform the Board on this
Agenda item. Ms. McDougall said that during COVID there had been a Board
Discussion about permitting the Administrative Staff to work from home on
Wednesday evenings, but that conversation was never documented within the
minutes. The Director reminded the Board that the topic was brought up at the last
regular Board Meeting and it was recommended we put a discussion on this month's
agenda. Ms. McDougall said that through the pandemic until this point, the staff
would be on site to complete work, or to attend scheduled meetings, and if neither of
those were necessary, they would work from home.
Mr. Kozlowski stated that if the staff were to be working from home tenants and the
public should be able to reach a person. Mr. Kozlowski said he feels there should be
someone in the office to answer the phones and that could be achieved by rotating
staff.
The Chairman stated that he too was in favor of having someone present in the
office until 8:00pm Wednesday evenings. He said that rotating staff would be
acceptable to him but how the rotation would be scheduled would be left to the
discretion of the Executive Director. The Chairman asked Ms. Flynn to express her
thoughts. Ms. Flynn agreed and said that approach sounded reasonable. The
Chairman asked Ms. Tatum who agreed and then Mr. Snyder who also agreed.
Mr. Kozlowski made a motion that after 5:00pm on
Wednesdays the staff is permitted to work from home provided
that there is one person physically present in the office to field
inquiries from the public or the residents until 8:00pm. Staffing
can be on a rotating basis or however the Executive Director
feels is the most appropriate way to handle the schedule. Mr.
Snyder seconded the motion.
Upon Vote, the Motion Passed by a Vote of 5-0.
The Chairman referred to Agenda Item #7 Questions and Comments.

explanation of what the Modernization Reports were. The Executive Director
explained that the Modernization reports detailed the budget of capital improvement
projects. Ms. Cornetta then asked if there were a capital project in the works to
replace the stove hood fan in the apartments on Bicentennial. Ms. McDougall said
that the Housing Authority would be presenting the Capital budget plan to the
residents and Local Tenant Organization on May 18, 2022. The Chairman reminded
the residents in attendance that they are welcome to contact the Executive Director
during business hours to ask questions of capital expenses. The Chairman also
stressed that he was not intending to discourage resident questions but wanted to
provide that suggestion for those that did not know.
Mr. Prestwich, the President of the Local Tenant Organization, thanked Ms. Tatum
for her service and wished her well.
