I am pleased to inform you that the Select Board, at its meeting of December 7, 2022, appointed you to serve on this advisory committee that will complete its charge one year from the date of the first meeting. Please contact the Town Clerk to be sworn in at your earliest opportunity. It is very important that all board and committee members avoid any conflict of interest situations. When you are sworn in by the Town Clerk, you will receive a Boards and Committees Handbook. At that time, you will also receive the latest revised state laws on open meetings. The Select Board also recommends that if any member misses four consecutive meetings, except in cases of sickness or any other valid reason, then he/she should resign of his/her own initiative.
