The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from September 15, 2022. Passes.
Sbelter Maintenance
• Sharon purchased more disposable litter boxes for the quarantine room, and 36 rubber
bottom cat dishes.
• Carol sent Jeff a link to a site that sells storage cubicles, for use in the kennel.
Cats
Mystique and Nella were transferred to Ipswich Humane Group, where they are reported
to be doing better than at the shelter.
Dogs
Lucky, who was brought in by MPD during an Xfinity concert, has been approved by the
court to return to his owner, who lives in NY.
Miscellaneous
• Motion: To change shelter hours so that the shelter will not be open to the public
every day. The shelter will be closed to the public on Tuesday and Saturday evenings.
Pass: 4/0
• Carol found an additional source to take excess cat and dog food.
