BOA� ORS MINUTES
Wednesday, October 26, 2022 Meeting
L At 6:38 p.m., Acting Chairperson Andrew S. Bank ("Chair") opened the Town of
Mansfield, MA Board of Assessors ("BOA") meeting held in the Assessor's office,
second floor of the Town of Mansfield Town Hall.
2. A roll call revealed that the following people were in attendance:
a) Andrew S. Bank, Chair,
b) Dana J. St. James, Clerk, and
c) Daniel C. Brogie (non -voting, Chief Assessor)
3. The BOA reviewed and approved the minutes of the September 29, 2022 BOA meeting
by unanimous vote.
4. The BOA reviewed and approved the weekly motor vehicle abatements by unanimous
vote.
5. The Chair noted that the only Old Business was the pending Clause 18 statutory
exemption application that was discussed in Executive Session.
6. The Chair ascertained that there was no New Business.
7. The Chair ascertained that there were no items not anticipated by the Chair 48 hours prior
to this meeting.
8. The Clerk moved that the BOA go into Executive Session called under G.L.c 30A s21
(a)(7) to comply with G.L.c.59 Section 60 to:
a) Review of Treasurer/Collector's delinquent Personal Property Accounts;
b) Review the September 29, 2022 Executive Session minutes; and
c) Review of pending exemptions (Clause 18, 22, 22D, 22E, 37A and 41C)
The motion passed unanimously, and the Executive Session commenced at 6:51 p.m.
9. At 7:16 p.m. the Chair closed the Executive Session and resumed the public meeting.
10. The BOA approved the minutes of the September 29, 2022 BOA Executive Session
meeting that was reviewed in Executive Session, by unanimous vote.
11. The BOA voted to grant 4 and deny 1 of the pending exemptions discussed in Executive
Session.
12. The BOA approved its recommended edits to the Treasurer/Collector's delinquent
Personal Property Accounts.
13. The BOA discussed the status of the overlay.
14. The Clerk moved that the BOA adjourn the meeting, the motion passed unanimously, and
the open meeting adjourned 7:35 p.m.
