Approval of Minutes
Minutes for 3/18/21,4/8/21, 6/29/21,7/28/21 were tabled.
New Business
Review of pending financial policies
The group reviewed the following policies, based on the recommendations and policy review by MASC.
The group recommended rescinding DJB and adopting DJ and DJA. The policies will be submitted to the
full School Committee for review and a vote.
• DBI Budget Operation and Control and DBJ Budget Transfer
• DBD Budget Planning
• DJ Purchasing
• DJA Purchasing Authority
Review of FY23 Budget timeline
The FY23 budget planning calendar was reviewed. A goal for this year is to continue to work with the
town to integrate the two budget planning calendars (municipal and school) to better coordinate dates
and deadlines administratively and to improve communication and collaboration between the Select
Board, School Committee, and Finance Committee, in terms of the budget planning process.
