MHPP Review + Discussion
• Story Map -reviewed edits identified from last meeting which were primarily related to key terms and
sources used
• Visual Preference Survey
➢ Lot size and year built added to show density changes
➢ Population decrease between 1989-1994 noted may also be attributed to aging population issue
occurring now
➢ Suggestion made to build a public housing availability component due to market conditions and
plays more of a factor currently
➢ Expect public responses to confirm what has already been discussed as barriers and challenges
• Next Steps
➢ SRPEDD to identify 8-12 strategies to help address the goals identified for the MHPP
➢ Collectively decide best way to distribute the survey to the public, identify modes of
communication like social media, hard copies in high traffic areas around town, etc.
➢ Determine timing to host a public workshop
