Dear Mr. Kanan,
On November 26, 2014, a compliance check regarding illegal tobacco sales to minors
was conducted by the Western Bristol and Foxborough Tobacco and Alcohol Prevention
Collaborative.
The compliance check revealed that your establishment sold tobacco products to a person
under the age of eighteen (18) years old at Cannan Fuels, 157 Pratt Street.
The Board of Health requests your attendance to discuss this matter at its January 8, 2015
meeting. Please bring a copy of the tobacco sales policies and training documents to that
meeting and be prepared to discuss them.
The meeting will be held at the Town Hall, 6 Park Row in the Building Department
Conference Room, first floor at 7:00 PM.
