1. Open Meeting

Ms. Sara Walsh called the Budget Subcommittee meeting to order at 6:03PM with aI rAV{ fs(p&sent.

2. Consideration to Approve the Meeting Minutes of April 13, 2022 and Apri2022
Motion: To approve the meeting minutes of April 13, 2022 and April 27, 2022. (DelVecchio/J. Walsh)
Passes 5:0
3. Re -organize committee roles
The committee decided to postpone re -organizing until the next meeting when there is a full committee.
4. Budget Subcommittee Charge Vote
Ms. Sara Walsh asked the Committee if there were any changes to the document that had been circulated.
Ms. Murphy provided some changes that the School Committee had asked for. It was also suggested to add in
language that a meeting date of the Committee should be established by August.
Motion: To approve the Budget Subcommittee Charge as presented. (Wilk/DelVecchio)

S. Special Education Stabilization Fund Policy Review
Ms. Lynn Cavicchi stated that she would like to see it detail out the process more clearly. She further noted
that the policy from Cohasset had some suggested language that could be used. No vote was taken and the
Committee will discuss this at their next meeting.
6. Discussion of Budget Process from prior year and proposal/plan for FY 24 budget process
Ms. Sara Walsh began the conversation providing a few comments that the Finance Committee brought
forward. The Committee discussed some of the proposed suggestions and it was agreed that the Town and
School would provide high level presentations of their budgets.
7. Any Items Not Known within 48 Hours
There were no additional items.
