BOARD OF ASSESSORS MINUTES r ; c t T t-S
Thursday, May 25, 2022 Meeting
At 6:01 p.m., Chairperson Greg Matoian ("Chair") opened the Town of Mansfield, MA
Board of Assessors ("BOA") meeting held in the MBC Room on the third floor of the
Town of Mansfield Town Hall.
2. A roll call revealed that the following people were in attendance:
a) Greg Matoian, Chair,
b) Andrew S. Bank, Member,
c) Dana J. St. James, Clerk, and
d) Daniel C. Brogie (non -voting, Chief Assessor)
3. The BOA reviewed and approved the minutes of the April 7, 2022 BOA meeting by
unanimous vote.
4. The BOA reviewed and approved the FY 2023 preliminary Real Estate and Personal
Property Warrants by unanimous vote.
5. The Chair ascertained that there was no Old Business.
6. The Chair opened discussions on the following New Business:
a) The BOA reviewed and signed a Letter of Authorization allowing the Chief
Assessor to sign and submit all necessary documentation for the Annual
Certification of Assessments to the Mansfield Department of Revenue through the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Gateway DLS System.
7. The Chair ascertained that there were no items not anticipated by the Chair 48 hours prior
to this meeting.
The Clerk moved that the BOA go into Executive Session called under G.L.c 30A s21
(a)(7) to comply with G.L.c.59 Section 60 to:
a) Review the April 7, 2022 BOA Executive Session minutes; and
b) Review a letter submitted to the BOA dated April 15, 2022.
The motion passed unanimously, and the Executive Session commenced at 6:17 p.m.
9. At 6:35 p.m. the Chair closed the Executive Session and resumed the public meeting.
a) The BOA approved the minutes of the April 7, 2022 BOA Executive Session meeting
by unanimous vote;
10. The Clerk moved that the BOA adjourn the meeting, the motion passed unanimously, and
the open meeting adjourned at 6:41 p.m.
