Board of Selectmen
Minutes of October 17, 2007
Present:
Chairman Louis Amoruso, Vice Chairman Sandra Levine, Clerk Ann Baldwin,
Selectman George Dentino, Selectman David McCarter.
John D'Agostino, Town Manager, Lee Azinheira, DPW Director is also
present
The Board of Selectmen's meeting was called to order at 7:00pm
Motion: To convene to Executive Session to discuss pending litigation. (Dentino/Baldwin)
3:0 passes. Roll call vote to go into Executive Session: Chairman Amoruso aye, Selectman
Dentino aye, Selectman Baldwin aye
Selectman McCarter arrived at 7:10pm and Selectman Levine arrived at 7:25pm
Review of proposed sewer agreement between Foxboro Lodge and the Town of Mansfield.
Short discussion of the use of settlement funds for I&I. (#1 on page 2 of agreement.)
"Simultaneously with the execution and delivery of this agreement, FLLP and FBC will pay
to Mansfield the sum of $250,000."
#7 on page 3 was deleted. "The payments required by this agreement are in lieu of and
satisfy any requirement that might otherwise apply for the purchase of additional capacity
by the Town of Foxboro to affect the acceptance of the flow which is the subject of the
agreement. "
Motion: To accept agreement as amended. (Dentino/Baldwin) 5:0 passes
Roll call vote: Chairman Amoruso aye, Vice Chair McCarter aye, Selectman Dentino aye,
Clerk Baldwin aye, Selectman Levine aye.
Motion: To adjourn executive session at 9:40pm and return to open session.
(Levine/Dentino) 5:0 passes. Roll call vote: Chairman Amoruso aye, Vice Chair McCarter
aye, Selectman Dentino aye, Clerk Baldwin aye, Selectman Levine aye.
