Mike has a couple corrections that were not incorporated. 3. ReCollect Presentation — Meghan Vidakovic — Presentation about what ReCollect is and how residents can use same. ReCollect is a way to streamline waste related communications, either through the waste wizard website or the mobile app, or both. The program provides residents with instant, accurate information on how to dispose of various items. The program is tailored to each specific Town. Great presentation on how it works; next step would be to set-up meeting to discuss pricing and such. 4. Resident Questions and Comments none 5. Cost of Stickers for Recycle Carts Christina reached out to MassDEP Recycle IQ kit for information on the stickers for the recycle carts for which items can and cannot be recycled. MassDEP is under state contract with Tigerpress which produces these stickers. TigerPress can no longer honor the state contract due to pricing fluctuations and increases. Christina stated it would be between of $15000 to $20000 for the stickers for the 8000 recycle toters that Mansfield currently has. Waste Management does not provide stickers for the bins; only the new bins have a sticker on them. Christina reached out to Allegra (FastPrint) and a rough estimate through them would be between $8000 and $9000; and they would roughly last three to four years. Christina will work on designing a sticker and what it should include. 6. Update on Recycling Fees/Costs from Other Communities Lisa Hendrickson prepared a spreadsheet taking a quick look at surrounding towns with regard fees to dispose of certain items that are accepted at the Green. Mansfield by far has the lowest numbers in the area. Mike will do a breakdown of the information from the surrounding Towns and what Mansfield is paying to dispose of these items when they leave the Mansfield Green especially the CRT's. Christina did a quick summary of what the Town has paid to Waste Management over the last two and a half years subsidizing the bulky item and white good stickers. It is roughly a $73,000 cost to the Town over the past two and a half years. Question about who would approve the increase in certain fees if Town decides to try and do same. The increase in fees would go through the Select Board. 7. Committee Questions and Comments Next meeting would like to discuss bylaws for donation bins with regard to licensing, fines, etc; get something together before the 2023 Spring Town Meeting. 8. Items Not Anticipated 48 Hours Prior to Meeting None 9. Adjourn Mike makes a motion to adjourn the meeting; Christina seconds motion all are in favor meeting adjourned. Respectfully Submitted I
