BOARD OF ASSESSORS MINUTES
HYBRID MEETING HELD INACCORDANCE WITH THE EMERGENCY
ORDER OF GOVERNOR BAKER ISSUED ONMARCH 12, 2020
REGARDING THE OPEN MEETING LAW
Tuesday May 11, 2021 Meeting
1. At 6:00 p.m. Acting Chairperson Andres S. Bank ("Chair") opened the
Town of Mansfield, MA Board of Assessors ("BOA") hybrid meeting where
some members (identified as "in person' below) were present in Room 3 A-
B located at the Mansfield Town Hall and others (identified as "via Go To
Webinar" below) attended via GoToWebinar.
2. The Chair conducted a Roll Call that revealed that the following people were
in attendance:
• Andrew S. Bank, Acting Chair, in person
• Dana J. St. James, Clerk, in person
• Daniel C. Brogie (non -voting, Chief Assessor), in person
• Carrie Champaign (non -voting, IT support) via GoToWebinar
• Nancy Griffin (non -voting, support) via GoToWebinar
• The meeting was broadcast live on Mansfield Local Cable Access
(Comcast Channel: 15 and Verizon Channel 27)
3. The BOA accepted the minutes of March 22, 2021 by unanimous vote.
4. The BOA reviewed and approved the Weekly Excise Tax Abatements by
unanimous vote.
5. The Chair confirmed that there was no business not anticipated by the Chair
48 hours prior to the meeting.
6. The Chair made a motion to go into Executive Session called under
G.G.c.30A s2l(s)(7) to comply with G.L.c. 59 section 60.
7. The open meeting adjourned at 6:03 p.m. and the BOA entered into
Executive Session at 6:18 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The BOA did not return to
open session.
