Request for Proposals ;; S; ,C1 i,j;;#-TTS
The Town of Mansfield invites Request for Proposals by responsible firms having the ability to perform
Solid Waste and Recyclables Collection and Recyclables Processing Services in the Town of Mansfield;
this is a qualifications -based process.
All submissions, to be considered, must be prepared in accordance with the requirements specified in
this Request for Proposals package.
This project is being E-Hosted through Projectdog, Inc. Go to www.Projectdog.com and click "Sign Up"
for free, or login with your existing account. Enter Project Code 845562 in the project locator box. Select
"Acquire Documents" to download bid documents, review a hard copy at Projectdog's physical location,
or request a free project CD. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor, subcontractor, vendor,
individual and/or corporation to review all ADDENDA prior to bid opening at www.Projectdog.com or at
Projectdog's physical location. Questions regarding the website or project distribution should be
directed to Projectdog at (978) 499-9014.
Submissions are due on or before October 13, 2021 at 10:00am. Any submission received after this time
and date will not be considered and will be returned to the Respondent unopened. The clock in the
Town Clerks office shall represent the official time for purposes of this determination and all
submissions shall be delivered to the Town Clerks office by the above stated date and time.
BID SECURITY must accompany each proposal and must be in the form of a money order, certified check
or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State of Massachusetts or a bid
bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety. Bid security must be in the sum of fifty
thousand dollars ($50,000) and made payable to the Town of Mansfield Department of Public Works.
Upon award, the Selected Proposers will enter into an Agreement with the Town and furnish the
required Performance and Payment Bond within the timeframe set forth in the RFP documents. If a
Selected Proposer fails to do so, the Bid Security shall be retained by the Town as liquidated damages
and not as penalty.
All inquiries regarding the information contained in this Request for Proposals shall be directed to the
Owner's Project Manager, Michael Ahern.
Proposals shall be divided into two separate documents and shall be submitted in two separate, sealed,
and clearly labeled envelopes with two separate thumb drives as outlined in the request for proposal
package.
The Town of Mansfield reserves the right to waive any informality in the submissions, to reject any or all
submissions, or to accept any submission which it deems to be in the best interest of the Town of
Mansfield.

The Town of Mansfield invites sealed bids from interested contractors for RFB# DPW Water 21-846296
Supply and Delivery of Granular Activated Carbon Adsorption System" in Mansfield,
Massachusetts, in accordance with the specifications and documents. The Town of Mansfield will receive
sealed bids at the DPW Office until 10:OOAM on October 26, 2021, at which time they shall be opened and
read aloud. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and on the outside be clearly marked with the date and
description of the bid. Bids received after the hour named will not be considered.
The Project consists of; Supply and Delivery of Granular Activated Carbon Adsorption System for
Walsh Well.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount that is no less than five (5%) percent of the
proposal amount made payable to The Town of Mansfield. Bid deposits shall be a certified check, bid
bond, treasurer's check or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. A Performance
Bond, Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance will be required. Bidding procedures shall be in
accordance with the General Laws, Chapter 149 Section 44A through 44J as most recently amended, and
other applicable laws.

thereof deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Town. Bidders are reminded that the Town
Officials other than those listed above neither individually not collectively are to be contacted, not will they
discuss any bids prior to the scheduled opening.
