The Town of Mansfield invites sealed bids from interested contractors for RFB# DPW Water 21-846296
Supply and Delivery of Granular Activated Carbon Adsorption System" in Mansfield,
Massachusetts, in accordance with the specifications and documents. The Town of Mansfield will receive
sealed bids at the DPW Office until 10:00AM on October 26, 2021, at which time they shall be opened and
read aloud. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and on the outside be clearly marked with the date and
description of the bid. Bids received after the hour named will not be considered.
The Project consists of; Supply and Delivery of Granular Activated Carbon Adsorption System for
Walsh Well.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount that is no less than five (5%) percent of the
proposal amount made payable to The Town of Mansfield. Bid deposits shall be a certified check, bid
bond, treasurer's check or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. A Performance
Bond, Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance will be required. Bidding procedures shall be in
accordance with the General Laws, Chapter 149 Section 44A through 44J as most recently amended, and
other applicable laws.

Up" for free, or login with your existing account. Enter Project Code 846296 in the project locator box.
Select "Acquire Documents" to download bid documents, review a hard copy at Projectdog's physical
location, or request a free project CD. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor, subcontractor, vendor,
individual and/or corporation to review all ADDENDA prior to bid opening at www.Projectdog.com or at
Projectdog's physical location. Questions regarding the website or project distribution should be directed to
Projectdog at (978) 499-9014.
The Town of Mansfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid or portion
thereof deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Town. Bidders are reminded that the Town
Officials other than those listed above neither individually not collectively are to be contacted, not will they
discuss any bids prior to the scheduled opening.
All inquiries regarding the information contained in this Request for Bids shall be directed to the Project
Manager, Michael Ahern. All questions must be submitted via email at mahern@mansfieldma.com. The
deadline for questions will be 10:OOAM on October 20, 2021.
