KMB initially spent $3K for project with mindset that it was going to
be reimbursed
- Mike H. shared that there are some new rules about projects being
funded on work already done
- In the end, we've determined that we may be out of luck here because
work that's already been done cannot be compensated after the fact.

II. Flower Barrels
- After the first frost, Mike and his "crew" will pull plants and then make
contact with Nancy to get pick up scheduled.
- Nancy to work with DPW for pickup of barrels.
- Discussion on barrels that need to be replaced (2 broken and 2 lost). Topic
to be readdressed for spring.
III. Painted Barrels
IV. Adopt -a Spot
- After many years of extraordinary work on this Program, Martha is
officially handing off the reigns to Ana who has graciously accepted Adopt -
A -Spot moving forward.
- Martha was going to pull together her notes/instruction.

Mansfield's Veteran's Day Parade (Thursday, Nov 11 ie) — we've been asked to
participate in the upcoming parade.
o Ultimately, we decided not to participate here
Collaboration Proiect with the Cultural Council (Nand
o Nancy brought us up -to -speed on progress of the program
New Volunteers - we have a few people who want to do cleanups. Need to
designate areas and organize cleanups. (Caroline Cooney & Amy/Avery Hawthorne)
Small Town Award — where does this stand
o Ana shared that she submitted application for KMB on this (thank you!)
Select Board Meetine —November 17'at 530pm
Select Board Liaison - Neil is the liaison for Conservation Committee and KMB to
the Select Board. So if any issues arise where you need his or the Select Board's
help, we now have a resource. We will be communicating with Neil in an official
capacity at least once a year.
Social Media - let's talk if this is something we want to outsource.
Benches — have been installed at Fulton Pond. The only thing pending is the
installation of the plaque. There is money left over - waiting for her sister
to decide what to do with it. If the KMB committee has any ideas, she would
welcome them. Maybe planting trees somewhere?
New Secretary - Pat Colbert is involved in so much and has done a remarkable job
with notes for quite some time. Looking for someone new to take up this position.
Mansfield Post Office - David Cullen is the new acting Postmaster of the
Mansfield Post Office. They are in the process of trying to spruce the building up
a bit. Reached out to KMB in hopes we can point them in the proper direction for
this assistance. Ana contacted David on Sept. 241h
Samsonite Cleanup - Neil coordinated with Samsonite to help them with
A community service event on Friday, 9/17.
