Wednesday, July 14, 2021 Meeting
1. At 6:13 p.m. Chairperson Greg Matoian ("Chair") opened the Town of
Mansfield, MA Board of Assessors ("BOA") held in the MBC Room on the
third floor of the Town of Mansfield Town Hall.
2. The following people were in attendance:
1. Greg Matoian, Chair,
2. Andrew S. Bank, member,
3. Dana J. St. James, Clerk, and
4. Daniel C. Brogie (non -voting, Chief Assessor).
3. The BOA reviewed and approved the minutes of May 11, 2021 by
unanimous vote.
4. The BOA Reviewed and approved the minutes of the May 11, 2021
Executive Session by unanimous vote.
5. The BOA reviewed and approved the Weekly Excise Tax Abatements by
unanimous vote.
6. The BOA reviewed and approved Commitment #8 2020 Motor Vehicle
Excise by unanimous vote.
7. The BOA reviewed and approved Commitment #2 2021 Motor Vehicle
Excise by unanimous vote.
8. The BOA reviewed and approved the FY 2022 Preliminary Real Estate Tax
Warrant by unanimous vote.
9. The BOA reviewed and approved the FY 2022 Preliminary Personal
Property Tax Warrant by unanimous vote.
1 O.The BOA reviewed and tabled (to be considered at a future meeting) the FY
2014 Personal Property Uncollected Taxes by unanimous vote.
11.Dan Brogie notified the Board of the following business not anticipated by
the Chair 48 hours prior to the meeting:
a. That ATB Cases number 20 & 21 were withdrawn and are no
longer pending.
b. Presented the BOA with the Revised or Omitted Gateway Form
that the BOA reviewed and approved by unanimous vote.
c. Presented the BOA with 3 Senior Tax Exemption applications.
Dan Brogie noted that two of the applicants had sufficient assets to
make them ineligible and the third applicant's annual income was
too high to qualify for the Senior Tax Exemption. The BOA
reviewed and denied the 3 applications by unanimous vote.
12.The meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.
