CRecommendation of Facility'Status��
Change
The Department of Environmental Quality Engineering, on August 12, 1983 conducted
a follow-up inspection of Hathaway and Patterson Co., Inc,, located at 15 County
Street, Mansfield, Massachusetts. The purpose of this inspection was to determine the
status of their facility relative to compliance with the Hazardous Waste Regulations
contained in 310 CMR 30.000 and 40 CFR 260-265.
-The inspection revealed that Hathaway and Patterson Co., Inc., was in_full
compliance with the Hazardous Waste Regulations and, in addition, operates as.a small
generator of hazardous waste, with temporary storage only, The inspection'Verified
that Hatheway!and.'Patterson Co., Inc., is not operating as a TSD facility. ;Therefore,
the Region recommendsthatHathaway and Patterson Co., Inc., be removed frola EPA's
Part A.application list for.TSD facilities. Please copy the Southeast Region with any
correspondence from EPA to this facility. If you have any ,questione relative to this
