The survey was conducted during September and October by delivering questionnaires (see attached sample questionnaire) to all residences that abut the Rumford River or the Rumford River Backwash. Out of 20 homes surveyed we only received 12 responses. All 12 respondents reported that they are connected to town water and none had a private well (see Table 1).
