In consideration of the provisions of Section 312 of the
Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization --Act _(SARA), Title
III, Final Rule 52, Fed-\ Reg. 38344, we are voluntarily -filing
with_ your .,agency the�Tier Two -- Emergency and Hazardous~
Chemical Inventory",
This is a voluntary submission because of the following reasons:
1. We have not received a written request from your
agency within the past 30 days.
2. We are not required to prepare or have available_
material safety data sheets (MSDS) for the materials
listed thereon (See 53 Fed. Reg. 29, 627, 29 CFR
1910.12 (B)(5)(iii) and 48 Fed. Reg. 53280, 53289
for exclusion statements.
We are submitting this information for specific chemicals
pursuant to the Tier Two Guidance Instructions as interpreted
to apply to this facility. While the chromated copper arsenate
wood preservative contains various components dissolved in
water, it does not seem to qualify as a mixture since none of the
components can be physically or mechanically separated, and we
are reporting on the basis of a liquid solution. You will note
that we are reporting on the basis of solution weight or volume
rather than individual components used to formulate such.
Manufacturers of Pressure Treated Forest Products
Since this corporation supports the fundamental aspects of the
Hazard Communication Standard, we are providing this information
in the best interests of the community, although regulations do
not require us to maintain or submit such. However, we do retain
the right to withdraw this submittal or discontinue future annual
submittals at our sole discretion at any time. Additionally, we
claim that all information furnished is to be classified as
CONFIDENTIAI, to the fullest extent provided by law.
