Dear Sir:
This is an update of the information we have already provided you
concerning this company's oil discharge.
The company has hired Robert Hanson of Environmental Research
Group, Inc., 2 Cresthaven Drive, Burlington, Massachusetts to assist
in devising a permanent solution to its recurrent problem. Brian Jeans
of the Massachusetts Division of Water Pollution Control's North
Pembroke office reports that the company continues to make progress
toward resolving the problem.
Mr. Jeans volunteered to appear at any hearing you may have on the
civil penalty proceeding. He may be reached at 826-2424.
