Yesterday afternoon Attorney Thomas Miller was informed by Attorney Jerry B. Plumb
of Riemer & Braunstein that he will be filing a suit in the Suffolk Superior Court to seize
control of Hatheway & Patterson's bank account. If and when this occurs and the
ability to utilize those funds are encumbered, Mr. William Haynes will be forced to
resign as president of Hatheway & Patterson. When that occurs, Penney Engineering,
Inc will be forced to stop all work on the Hatheway & Patterson project. You have
previously been notified of the serious safety concerns currently at the 15 County
Street property.
Will the Department be filing a counter suit holding the Bank of Boston accountable as
a potentially responsible party? Will the Department be acting to address the safety
concerns? Penney Engineering may be able to provide limited assistance.
