Present: Mr. Jess Aptowitz, Chairman; Mr. Michael Trowbridge, Vice-Chairman`Mr Neil Rhein,
Clerk; Mr. Frank DelVecchio and Mr. Steve Schoonveld were present via conference call l'Mi. Ke� li 2
Dumas, Town Manager and Mr. Barry LaCasse, Assistant Town Manager/Finance Director and Town
Counsel Attorney Kimberly Salliant were also present via conference call.
Chairman Aptowitz called the meeting to order at 5:04PM.
Enter into Executive Session and Not Return to Open Session under Exemption No. 3, M.G.L.
Chapter 30A, Section 21-
• To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting
may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body
and the chair so declares
Attorney Kim Salliant was present on the conference call with the Select Board to discuss the
Rosenfeld and CommCann legal matter. Attorney Salliant presented options that were available to
the Select Board as next steps. The Board asked questions and had a discussion and made the
following vote.
Motion: To have Attorney Kimberly Saillant on behalf of the Town of Mansfield file a Notice of Appeal
and an Appeal from the Judgement in the Rosenfeld case, and that a Press Release will be offered and
released. (Schoonveld/Trowbridge)
