January 8, 2020
Present: Mr. Jess Aptowitz, Chairman; Mr. Michael Trowbridge, Vice -Chairman; Mr. Neil Rhein, Clerk; Mr. Frank
DelVecchio and Mr. Steve Schoonveld. Mr. Kevin Dumas, Town Manager
Chairman Aptowitz called the meeting to order at 8:35PM.
Enter into Executive Session and Not Return to Open Session under Exemption No. 2, M.G.L. Chapter 30A,
Section 21-
• To discuss strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with non -union personnel or to
conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with non -union personnel.
Mr. Dumas stated that he and Director Lemaire have decided that they would like to promote Just Desrosiers to
the Fire Chief position and asked the Board for support. The Board asked some questions but no formal motion
was made and the Board was in suoaort of Mr. Dumas's decision.
Motion: To adjourn the executive session meeting of January 8, 2020 at 9:05PM. (DelVecchio/Trowbridge)
