HomeMy WebLinkAboutMHC 04/17/2019A meeting of the Board of Directors was held on Wednesday 4/17/2019. Present were
Chair, Randy Waters; Vice -Chair, Lou Amoruso; Treasurer, Connie Baynes; Secretary, Sean
Gramme[; and member, Jeff Wagner. Absent was member, Marilyn Lewis. The meeting was
held in the MBC meeting room at Town Hall and called to order by Randy at 6:35 PM.
Minutes for the March 2019 meeting were read and reviewed, with minor corrections
proposed. Lou moved for approval of the minutes as amended, seconded by Randy, and passed
unanimously.
Connie provided the Treasurer's report and reported a balance of $458,065.58. There were no
expenses during March 2019. David Doucette, the CPA for the MHC, has the information for the
Board's taxes, but Connie had not heard about whether the taxes were completed. Lou moved
for approval of the report, Sean seconded, and passed unanimously.
Discussion ensued about writing a mission statement for the MHC. The Board discussed having
Judi Barrett facilitate those discussions. Connie mentioned that Judi has been busy with Town
Meetings and that the cost of her services is unknown.
Connie provided a proposal for a mission statement, as did Lou. Jeff suggested a brainstorming
session with all members proposing terms to be included in a mission statement. The Board
agreed to try that exercise at the May 2019 meeting.
Discussion then moved to the status of the report from Mark O'Hagan. Marilyn has been the
point of contact with him and no one else had information on the status of his work for the
Board. Randy said he would contact Marilyn so that the Board would have some information
for the next meeting.
The next meeting was scheduled for May 15, 2019, at 6:30. Lou moved adjournment. Passed
unanimously at 7:07 PM.
