Treasurer's Report Balance on Hand at Town Hall: $9,667.09 Transactions since last meeting: o $828.88 payment to Keep Massachusetts Beautiful -for our part of the storage costs o $95 payment from Beadcache for flower barrels PayPal donations that have come in over the last two weeks (not reflected in the Town Hall total above) o $100 from the Crocketts o $20 from Susan Feely o $100 from Maria Borland - Approx. 100+ people registered for We Noticed Award - Bead Cache is our recent winner - Rich (and Donna) Golemme were very appreciative - They have 5 flower barrels MOM OMUI N30N3 6io'nop@@nop . 6io'nop . L6L9'9Z£'009 • OOL9'£9Z'909 Vf1JN 0£66-Z9LW VW 'H°onmj08121VW • 0£66 X08 Od • GA-lG HONAI O1VN00 OZZ • NOINn ii(i32io 1VN303d IV110I0 Avm n3a 3Hl- !JNINNVS rCA CA Adopt -A -Spot Verizon Downtown - Caretaker (Stephanie Hooper) cleaning up the sign - Need to order new sign Pollinator Garden by Superintendents Office - Based on recent events to the site, there was agreement that Town of Mansfield would replace damaged plants - 23 perennials were purchased = $242.78 - Site condition had declined significantly since corrective plan was agreed to and it was necessary to enlist additional help at the last minute - Fortunately, Ana was able to quickly get assistance from employees at The Garden Lady - Labor charge of $390 (3 hours at $130) was added to the bill from The Garden Lady — "the 3 hours were spent weeding and raking both sides to the entrance of the School Department. Replanting some of the perennials, as well as purchasing and planting new pollinating perennials" - In the end, the plants ($242.78) were approved by the Town but the labor charges ($390) were not - KMB has agreed to cover the short -fall to The Garden Lady should the Town not re -consider to compensate for the labor. Not only does KMB feel that it is appropriate, but it should also be emphasized that TGL went through the effort of getting the plants and purchasing perennials at cost. West Mansfield Sign and Spot Update - Ana said that there are no significant updates - Stumps have not been taken out - DPW needs to take sign too - This is not a new Adopt -A -Spot so it does not need approval, it is grandfathered in - Still need to apply for funding thought (via non-profit gift fund) - Neil may ask local kid for help here Adopt -A -Street - Jeff will be digging in here to get site/link working correctly (will reach out to Nancy Griffin) - Once we do, we need to add to Keep Mansfield Beautiful site. If not on main page then on the A-A-S section. - We also need to make it prominent on the Town of Mansfield website and searchable - Communicating with current and lapsed participants is also important. Particularly when we begin to engage new participants into this Program.
