Administration Reports:
Superintendent Teresa Murphy provided an update on transition information. Information
will be sent to families regarding the transition process from one school to another. We
will offer remote opportunities for students and parents to get information and ask
questions. Teresa recognized the hard work of our teachers and nurses for National
Teachers and National Nurses Appreciation Days.
Assistant Superintendent Michael Connolly provided an update on MHS activities including
AP testing. Tests will be given online (from home) over the course of a week. College
Board is coordinating all testing but MHS is assisting students get through the process. We
are fortunate in here that we are in the day time zone of testing. The AP exams are given at
a set time around the world so those in other parts of the country or world are taking the
exams at odd times.
New Business:
Authorization to Accept a temporary Connolly Bus Contract:
Assistant Superintendent Ed Donoghue reviewed an amendment that will allow us to adjust our
payments due to the pandemic. We agreed, along with other districts, to reduce the rate to an
amount allowing them to maintain their Fleet. Currently all Connolly Bus employees are collecting
unemployment. The proposed rate is an almost 50% reduction. Total savings is over $320,000.

Authorization ofpartial paymentfor Spring Coaching Stipends.
Ed Donoghue spoke to this item. Attached is a sheet noting coaching stipends for the spring. We are
requesting that the committee approve partial stipends for these coaches since a lot of preparation
work had been completed by the coaches prior to the end of school. Head coaches: 20% and
assistant coaches: 10%. Total payment is around $14,000. Chair O'Neil feels it is a fair recognition
of the work that had been completed.

FY19 End of YearAudit.
Assistant Superintendent reviewed the end of year report to DESE. There is a new audit firm this
year. Findings are: Felt that we reported some items which should be moved to a different
category. We will modify and send an amended report. We get an allocation of expenses annually
from the town. We don't have a written agreement between the schools and town so we should
create this document. These findings are common and not concerning.
