Present: Elisabeth Garber -Miller, Chair; Darlene Pruitt, Clerk; Matthew Cummings,

Guests: Evan Sohn (601 East Street), Stanley Sohn (619 East Street),
1. Meeting called to order
The meeting of the Mansfield Zoning Board of Appeals was called to order by Chair
Elisabeth Garber -Miller at 7:33pm.
2, Reorganization,
Ms. Garber -Miller calls for a reorganization of the committee.
*Mr. Cummings nominates Ms. Garber -Miller as Chair, 2"" by Ms. Pruitt.
VOTE 5-0 Passed
*Mr. Cummings nominates Ms. Pruitt as Cleric, 2nd by Mr. Correira. VOTE
5-0 PASSED
Ms. Garber -Miller says they've been supplied the new plan. She says because they're
modifying a decision, and of those people who were there one of the members is not
present, that she questions ifthis constitutes as a majority. Ms. Garber -Miller verifies in
the December 17, 2019 minutes that the plan was not sufficient and states that that was
the last official vote. Mr. Cummings says he was told, in the Building Department, that
they don't need all the signatures but theyjust need to hit a majority. Ms. Garber -Miller
says if three out of four people who voted to approve than that should be sufficient. Mr.
Cummings says it should be sufficient.
*Motion that the plan dated December 20, 2019, for 601/619&621 East Street is
sufficient for the request made at the previous hearings in regards to the variance
originally approved January 15, 2019, made by Mr. Cummings, 2n" by Ms. Pruitt.
VOTE 3-0 PASSED
