The Town of Mansfield invites the submission of qualifications by responsible firms having the
ability to perform a building feasibility study, which if successful, may lead to a negotiated fee for
necessary design and bidding services for newly proposed Council on Aging and Recreation
Facility located at the soon to be former police station located at 50 West Street in the Town of
Mansfield.
All submissions, to be considered, must be prepared in accordance with the requirements
specified in this Request for Qualifications and in accordance with applicable provisions of
Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 7C. Note if submissions are not in the format as specified
in the document they will be considered non responsive.
The fee is to be negotiated with the firm having the number one ranked proposal. If an
agreement cannot be reached with the first choice, the Town of Mansfield may negotiate with
the next highest ranked firm.
This project is being E-Hosted through Projectdog, Inc. Go to www.Projectdog.com and
click "Sign Up" for free, or login with your existing account. Enter Project Code 829262 in the
project locator box. Select "Acquire Documents" to download bid documents, review a hard copy
at Projectdog's physical location, or request a free project CD. It is the sole responsibility of the
contractor, subcontractor, vendor, individual and/or corporation to review all ADDENDA prior
to bid opening at www.Projectdog.com or at Projectdog's physical location. Questions regarding

Nine (9) hard copies of all Submission Requirements must be submitted to:

Submissions are due on or before January 18, 2019 at 10:OOam. Any submission received after
this time and date will not be considered and will be returned to the respondent unopened. The
clock in the Town Clerks office shall represent the official time for purposes of this
determination and all submissions shall be delivered to the Town Clerks office by the above
stated date and time.
All inquiries regarding the information contained in this Request for Qualifications shall be
directed to the Owner's Project Manager, Michael Ahern. All questions must be submitted in
writing and sent via certified mail or equiv. A walkthrough of the site and pre -proposal
meeting will be held on January 15, 2019 at 10:00am at the proposed site, 50 West St.
Mansfield, MA,
The Town of Mansfield reserves the right to waive any informality in the submissions, to reject
any or all submissions, or to accept any submission which it deems to be in the best interest of
the Town of Mansfield.
Submissions are to be sealed and properly identified on the outer envelope as Qualifications for
Building Re -Use Feasibility Study.
