1. Call the Finance Committee meeting to order and review the agenda
Mr. Wilk called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm.
2. Aunrove Prior Finance Committee meeting minutes
Motion: Approve November 16, 2017 meeting minutes (Christo/DeSantis). Passes
3. Discuss Revenue Task Force concept and update on potential commercial
opportunities for Mansfield
Mr. Eagle brought Revenue Task Force Mission Statement and Action Plan sheet to
committee. Mr. Wilk brought up looking to other town websites (i.e. what software they
used) to improve Mansfield's website. Mr. Eagle mentioned that this revenue task force
concept ought to be approved and sent to selectmen such that Mansfield's Commerce and
Industrial (C&I) base can be improved. Mr. Eagle emphasized how we can be advisers and
information -gatherers to the selectmen. Mr. Feely mentioned having low -hanging fruit like
economic development information presented on a website (i.e. Westborough's website). Mr.
Wilk mentioned that it takes a while to get membership and recommendations made through
the task force.
Motion: Send forward the proposal for the Mansfield Revenue Task Force (Christo/Feely).
Passes 7-0.
4. Consider Finance Committee member attendance at Massachusetts Municipal
Association Annual Meeting & Trade Show and other similar events.

Mr. DeSantis mentioned it's nrobablv comina uP in end of December and is in Boston. Mr.
Wilk said he had money to send people over to it. Mr. Wilk recommended talking to John
about it. Mr. DeSantis said he will send out the latest copies of the meeting and trade show,
including other information (i.e. how it affects tax base). Mr. DeSantis agreed to take the
lead.
